Michael Clarke

Michael is a highly experience programme and project manager with extensive experience in the private sector of managing complex programmes and projects.

After a brief time in industry, Michael joined Safeway Stores as a product Research and Development Manager before moving into the Property and Development Division. It was with Safeway Michael became involved in project and programme work ranging from product development to engineering projects and ERP implementations, and headed-up the Division’s management information and asset management department.

Michael left Safeway to join The Quarto Group, Inc., a leading independent international publisher, headquartered in London initially as Head of Business and Operational Research before becoming Group Director of Operations. Here, the scope of project and programme management increased from operations projects (e.g. IT and property related activities) to include business improvement and transformation projects across the Group. Michael left Quarto in May 2016 to start Sequitur Services Limited offering business development and project management services.

Michael graduated from Leicester University with a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry before taking up a fellowship at the University of Sussex.  He has an MBA from The Open University and in May completes a B.A. degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics also with The Open University.
